No drugs policy

There will be strict adherence to a No Drugs intake policy for all participants in this tournament, as all participating players or coaches, will be tested for drugs before each match. And any player tested positive to any illicit drugs will be disquafied from participating.

THE TOURNAMENT

  • Football is the most widely accepted and loved sporting activity for youths in Nigeria.
    Therefore it is a powerful tool used to engage communities and prevent crime, violence and
    potential drug use among youths.
  • The tournament will involve the competition of 20 Teams of 10 players each.
  • Draws will be made and a schedule table drawn for matches to be played between 17th-19th
    of October, 2025
  • The Finals which will be the main event will have Cup presentations, music performances, etc.
  • There will be Free drugs and HIV Testing for the 3 days.
  • There will be strict adherence to a No Drugs intake policy for all participants in this tournament, as all participating players or coaches, will be tested for drugs before each match. And any player tested positive to any illicit drugs will be disqualified from participating.
  • There will be cash prizes for the winning team, the 1st and 2nd runners up.
  • It will also comprise of health talks and drug sensitisation activities on interval during the course of the matches each day.
  • This tournament will be aired on TV stations and rigorously promoted on our wide reaching online platforms, social media blogs, Radio stations and Newspapers, to ensure that the impact is felt Nationwide.
