Partner with YESA
Back proven, sport-powered youth interventions against drug abuse, HIV/AIDS and crime, aligned with SDGs 3, 4, 8, 16 and 17 and Nigeria's National Drug Control Master Plan.

The challenge
According to 2023 NDLEA, NACA and UNODC reports, 14.4 million Nigerians aged 15–64 use psychoactive substances, one of the highest rates in Africa. One in four drug users is a young person aged 15–29.
YESA's own community surveys found that 37% of young respondents had experimented with or been exposed to substance use, 65% had no structured mentorship or access to skills programmes, and 52% named financial hardship as a reason peers turn to drugs or petty crime.
These findings point to one answer: combine education, sport, mentorship and enterprise in the same intervention. That is what SADA does.
Why partners back us
- Proven delivery. SADA 2025 was 80% self-financed and still reached 3,000+ young people with zero incidents.
- Government alignment. We work with UNODC, NDLEA, NACA, EFCC, FACA and the Federal Ministry of Youth Development.
- Measured results. Pre- and post-activity surveys, impact dashboards and an ADAAM tracking database, reviewed quarterly with partners.
- National visibility. Coverage on TVC News, Arise TV, AIT and leading online platforms.
